The Golden Feather

The Golden Feather

Long ago, in a quiet mountain village, a poor girl named Lila found a glowing golden feather lying beside a river. It shimmered like fire in the sunlight. She thought of selling it to buy food, but instead, she kept it safe.

That night, a beautiful bird with wings brighter than the sun appeared at her window. It said, “Thank you for protecting my feather. For your kindness, I will grant you a gift.”

From that day on, whenever Lila shared food with the hungry or comforted the sad, a new golden feather would appear in her basket. The villagers, curious at first, soon realized her secret: kindness brings endless treasures.

And so, the little mountain village learned that true wealth is not gold or silver, but the light of kindness in one’s heart.
