The Wise Old Man
Long ago, in a small village, there lived a wise old man. People from far and wide came to him for advice because he always gave answers that changed their lives.
One day, a young man came to him and complained, “People always hurt me with their words. They laugh at me and say I am useless. What should I do?”
The old man gave him a mirror and said, “Look at yourself. Do you see a bird or a lion?”
The young man replied, “I see myself.”
The old man smiled and said, “Exactly. You are who you are. People may call you a bird, a lion, or even useless, but that does not change the truth. What others say is only their reflection, not your reality.”
The young man finally understood that people’s opinions could not define his worth. From that day on, he lived with confidence and peace.
✨ Moral of the story: Your value does not decrease because of someone’s inability to see your worth.
