🌸The Fox and the Crow

The Fox and the Crow

One day, a crow found a piece of cheese and flew up to a tree to eat it. Just then, a hungry fox came by. He wanted the cheese very badly.

The fox thought of a trick. He said to the crow, “Oh, beautiful crow! How lovely your feathers are. You must have a sweet voice too. Please sing a song for me!”

The crow felt proud of the fox’s words. She opened her mouth to sing. As soon as she cawed, the cheese fell down.

The clever fox quickly picked it up and ran away, laughing. The poor crow realized she had been fooled.

Moral of the story: Beware of flatterers.

🌸The Fox and the Grapes

The Fox and the Grapes

It was a bright and sunny afternoon. A hungry fox was walking through a beautiful vineyard. His stomach growled, and he hoped to find something to eat. Suddenly, he saw a bunch of big, purple grapes hanging from a high vine.

The grapes looked fresh and juicy. The fox licked his lips and thought, “Ah! These grapes will surely satisfy my hunger.”

He stood on his back legs and tried to grab them, but they were too high. The fox stepped back, ran, and jumped as high as he could — but still, he could not reach them.

He tried again and again. He even stacked some sticks and stones to make himself taller, but nothing worked. The grapes stayed out of reach.

The poor fox became very tired. His legs ached, and he was sweating under the hot sun. At last, he gave up. He looked at the grapes one last time and said angrily,

"Those grapes are probably sour anyway! I don’t want them.😒

Then, he walked away slowly, still hungry but pretending not to care.

Moral: It is easy to dislike what you cannot get. Do not let pride stop you from admitting what you truly want.

🌸The Thirsty Crow

The Thirsty Crow

One hot summer day, a crow was very thirsty. He flew here and there looking for water but found none.

At last, he saw a pot with a little water at the bottom. The crow tried to drink but his beak could not reach the water.

The clever crow thought of an idea. He picked up small stones one by one and dropped them into the pot. Slowly, the water rose up.

The crow drank the water and flew away happily.

Moral: Where there is a will, there is a way.

“Why are you so late?” roared the lion.

“On my way, another lion stopped me. He said he was the king of the forest,” said the rabbit.

The lion became very angry. “Take me to him!” he roared.

The rabbit led the lion to a deep well. The lion looked inside and saw his own reflection. He thought it was another lion and jumped in to fight.

🌸The Lion and the Mouse

The Lion and the Mouse

Once upon a time, a mighty lion was sleeping under a big tree. Suddenly, a little mouse ran over his body. The lion woke up, very angry.

“Who dared to disturb my sleep?” he roared. He caught the tiny mouse in his big paw.

“Please, let me go!” squeaked the mouse. “If you spare my life, I will help you one day.”

The lion laughed loudly. “How can a small creature like you help me?” But he was kind-hearted, so he let the mouse go.

A few days later, the lion was trapped in a hunter’s net. He tried to escape but failed. He roared loudly for help.

The little mouse heard his cry and ran to him. The mouse started biting the ropes of the net with his sharp teeth. Soon, the lion was free.

The lion smiled and said, “Thank you, little friend. Now I see that even a small creature can help a great lion.”

Moral: Kindness is never wasted.

🌸 The Secret Garden and the Golden Key

The Secret Garden and the Golden Key

One quiet evening, just as the sun was setting, Emma walked home slowly from school. The streets were calm, and the golden light of the sunset painted everything in warm colors. As she passed the corner of Maple Street, something caught her eye.

On the ground, half-buried in the dust, was a small golden key. It was no ordinary key—it had tiny patterns carved into it, like vines wrapping around its handle. Emma picked it up carefully and wondered, “What could this open?”

She slipped it into her pocket and continued walking. A few minutes later, she came across an old wooden gate at the end of the street. She had walked past it hundreds of times, but today it felt different. The gate looked ancient, its paint peeling, its lock rusty. Nobody ever seemed to go inside.

Something inside Emma whispered, “Try the key.”

With trembling hands, she slid the golden key into the lock. To her amazement, it turned smoothly, and the gate swung open with a long creak.

On the other side was a place she had never seen before: a hidden garden, glowing with beauty. Flowers of every color bloomed wildly, butterflies danced in the air, and a crystal-clear fountain sparkled in the middle. The garden smelled sweet, and soft music—like wind chimes—seemed to float through the air.

Emma stepped inside, her heart beating fast. She felt as if she had entered a different world. Birds chirped happily, and when she leaned over the fountain, she thought she saw her reflection smiling back even brighter than usual, as if the water itself was alive.

From that day on, whenever Emma felt lonely, tired, or worried, she would visit the secret garden. The golden key became her most precious treasure. The garden was her safe place—a world full of magic, peace, and hope.

She never told anyone about it. Some secrets are too beautiful to share.

Moral of the story: Sometimes, life hides special doors around us. With curiosity, courage, and kindness, we can discover magical places—both in the world and in our own hearts.

🌸The Brave Little Star

The Brave Little Star

Far away in the night sky, there was a tiny star named Luma. She was smaller and dimmer than all the other stars. Every night, she tried to shine, but the bigger stars laughed and told her, “You’re too small to make a difference.”

One evening, a big storm covered the Earth with thick clouds. The people below couldn’t see the moon or the bright stars. They felt sad in the dark. Luma saw this and decided to try her best. She focused all her energy and shone as brightly as she could.

To everyone’s surprise, her little light broke through the heavy clouds. The people on Earth noticed her tiny sparkle and felt hope again. Children pointed up and smiled, saying, “Look! A star is guiding us.”

From that night on, Luma wasn’t ashamed of being small. She learned that even the smallest light can brighten the darkest night.

Emma began visiting the garden every day. She watered the plants, played with the butterflies, and listened to the birds singing.

Slowly, the garden became brighter and more alive. Emma realized that taking care of it made her happy too. The secret garden was not just a hidden place—it was her special world of peace, joy, and friendship with nature.

And from that day on, Emma learned that sometimes the most beautiful treasures are hidden, waiting for a curious heart to discover them.

🌸The Honest Woodcutter

The Honest Woodcutter

Once upon a time, there was a poor woodcutter who lived near a forest. Every day he cut wood and sold it in the market. One day, while cutting a tree beside a river, his axe slipped and fell into the water. The river was deep, and he could not find it.

The poor man sat by the river and cried. Suddenly, a kind angel appeared. She asked, “Why are you crying?” The woodcutter told her about his lost axe.

The angel went into the river and brought out a golden axe. “Is this yours?” she asked.
The woodcutter said, “No, that is not mine.”

She went again and brought out a silver axe. “Is this yours?” she asked.
The woodcutter replied, “No, that is not mine either.”

Finally, she brought out the iron axe. The woodcutter’s face lit up. “Yes! That one is mine!”

The angel was pleased with his honesty. She gave him not only his iron axe but also the golden and silver axes as a reward.

From that day, the honest woodcutter lived a happy life.

Moral: Honesty is always rewarded.
